What you’ll do

  • Own the product lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for your designated area, from discovery and definition through to launch and iteration, ensuring your product area is successful.

  • Define product strategy: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for your area, ensuring alignment with VIALET’s overall goals and market opportunities.

  • Champion the customer: Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to deeply understand customer problems, needs, and the competitive landscape, translating these insights into actionable product requirements and a well-defined customer journey.

  • Drive execution: Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog, write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and work closely with the engineering team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of solutions that meet customer needs simply and elegantly.

  • Collaborate & communicate: Effectively communicate product plans, progress, decisions (always articulating the “why”), and insights to stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and fostering strong relationships through negotiation and influence.

  • Measure success: Define, track, and analyze key product metrics to measure performance, validate hypotheses, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-informed decisions.

  • Ensure compliance: Ensure all product development within your area adheres to relevant regulatory and compliance requirements in the FinTech space.

  • Innovate & improve: Proactively identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation, focusing on delivering significant value to our users and the business by prioritizing the 20% of features that deliver 80% of value.

What you’ll bring

  • 2-5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within a FinTech environment.

  • Deep understanding of product management methodologies and best practices, from discovery to delivery.

  • Own the end-to-end Payments roadmap, from discovery to release, covering major payment rails, routing logic, and regulatory adaptation. You set direction, define priorities, and are accountable for every feature that ships under Payments.

  • Customer-obsessed mindset with a strong ability to empathize with users, a relentless focus on the customer experience, and a knack for translating their needs into impactful product solutions.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data to drive product decisions and balance gut feeling with data-driven approaches.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate the “why”, effectively negotiate, influence, and align diverse teams.

  • Ability to own a product area end-to-end (including UI, APIs, documentation, and internal/external communication), demonstrating initiative, problem-solving, and accountability.

  • Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic FinTech environment.
