Protecting your privacy is important to "VIA Payments" UAB and our employees.

We believe the confidentiality and protection of client information is one of our most fundamental responsibilities. Whether you are an existing client or are considering a relationship with us, you have an interest in how we collect, use, retain and secure nonpublic personal information.

And while information is critical to providing quality services, we recognize that one of our most important assets is our customers trust.

2.1. This policy together with the General Terms of Service apply to your use of:
2.1.1. our website at business.vialet.eu, vialet.eu and ib.vialet.eu (the " Site");
2.1.2. the VIA Payments Mobile App ( App ) once you have downloaded a copy of the App onto your mobile telephone or handheld device ( Device ); and
2.1.3. any of the services accessible through the App or the Site (the Services ).
2.2. This policy sets out the basis on which we collect any personal data. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding personal data and how we will treat it.

The Information We Collect

1. VIA Payments will collect and process the following data about you:
1.1. Information you provide to us on account opening documentation, applications, subscriptions or other forms, corespondence with us, personal description and photograph and any other information you provide us in order to prove your eligibility to use our services. Including information you provide when you register to use the App, download or register the App, subscribe to any of our services, enter into any transaction on the App or the Site.
2.1. Each time you visit the App or our Site we will automatically collect technical information, information about your visit, transaction information, information stored on your Device, details of your use of our App or your visits to our Site.
2.2. When you use VIA Payments services, we may collect and process information about your actual location. We use various technologies to determine location, including IP address and GPS to prevent fraud.
2.3. We may collect and store information (including personal information) locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage and App data caches.
2.4. We use various technologies to collect and store information when you visit a VIA Payments service, and this may include using cookies or similar technologies to identify your browser or device.

How we use information we collect

3.1. We use collected information to:
3.1.1. carry out our obligations arising from any transactions you enter into with us;
3.1.2. to verify your identity to protect against fraud, comply with financial crime laws and to confirm your eligibility to use our products and services;
3.1.3. to notify you about changes to our service;
3.1.4. to administer our Site and the App for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;
3.1.5. to improve our Site and the App to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;
3.1.6. to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;
3.1.7. as part of our efforts to keep our Site and the App safe and secure;

3.1.8. to measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising we serve to you and others, and to deliver relevant advertising to you;
3.1.9. to verify your identity, protect against fraud, comply with anti-financial crime laws and to confirm your eligibility to use our products and services and to comply with our regulatory obligations.
3.1.10. to deliver relevant advertising to you, for example, information on nearby merchants;
3.1.11. to protect against fraud;
3.1.12. to help us better understand your financial circumstances and behaviour so that we may make decisions about how we manage your VIA Payments Account;
3.1.13. to process applications for products and services available through us including making decisions about whether to agree to approve any applications;

Information we share

4.1. We do not share personal information with companies, organizations and individuals outside of VIA Payments unless one of the following circumstances applies:
4.1.2. With your consent
4.1.2.1. We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of VIA Payments when we have your consent to do so. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any sensitive personal information.
4.1.3. For external processing
4.1.3.1. We provide personal information to our affiliates or other trusted businesses or persons to process it for us, based on our instructions and in compliance with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
4.1.4. For legal reasons
4.1.4.1. We will share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of VIA Payments if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
a) meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
b) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
c) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of VIA Payments, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.
4.2. We may share non-personally identifiable information publicly and with our partners – like publishers, advertisers or connected sites.

Information security

5.1. We work hard to protect VIA Payments and our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold.
5.2. We review our information collection, storage and processing practices, including physical security measures, to guard against unauthorized access to systems.

When this Privacy Policy applies

6.1. Our Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered by UAB "VIA Payments" and its affiliates, but excludes services that have separate privacy policies that do not incorporate this Privacy Policy.

Transparency and choice

7.1. You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data. You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us using the chat function on the App or the Site.
