What you’ll do

• Ensure daily reconciliation is completed and collaborate with Finance teams to ensure sufficient safeguarding.

Handle escalations from Customer Service on payment-related queries such as missing payments, bank recalls, and card disputes and chargebacks.

• Handle manual payment processes including fee cancellations, account credits, and debits in line with SLAs and internal policies.

• Be the main point of contact on operational issues with our banking and payment providers.

Support Finance in the design and development of reconciliation and monitoring tools.

What you’ll bring

• At least 2-3 years of proven experience in Payments Monitoring, Financial Services, or a related field (preferably in an Electronic Money or Payment Institution).

Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and contribute to defining the team’s goals and objectives.

Experience with payment systems (e.g., Sepa, Sepa Instant, SWIFT).

• Familiarity with payment regulations.

• Skills and knowledge to orientate in the general market situation of the industry.

• Strong communication skills and cooperation skills with team and colleagues, partners, business partners.

• Have professional English language skills (any additional foreign language is an advantage).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
