What you’ll do

· Provide leadership, direction, and management of the finance, accounting, and treasury functions.

· Deliver strategic financial recommendations to the CEO and executive team to support business growth and scalability.

· Oversee the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and performance reporting.

· Lead long-term financial planning and scenario modelling to support data-driven decision-making.

· Ensure robust risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks are embedded across financial operations.

· Manage capital raising efforts (debt, equity, or hybrid) to support expansion and meet regulatory capital requirements.

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, investors, banks, and other external stakeholders.

· Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to align financial insights with technology-driven strategies.

· Guide the financial integration of digital platforms, embedded finance models, and innovative revenue streams.

· Oversee compliance with relevant financial services regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, PSD2, SEC, FCA).

· Manage company finances, maintaining accurate records of transactions, assets, debts, loans, investments, and other financial data.

· Oversee liquidity, currency management, and client fund segregation.

· Approve and monitor OPEX and CAPEX payments, ensuring compliance with budgets and approvals.

· Ensure proper operation of financial systems, including testing, improving functionality, and maintaining a four-eyes principle for payments.

· Develop and enhance financial reporting and ensure accurate transaction recording.

· Ensure client funds are safeguarded per the Bank of Lithuania’s standards, advise on investment options, and ensure regular fund reconciliation.

· Develop and monitor funds flow management strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Perform other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the CEO or Direct Manager within the general scope of the role.

What you’ll bring

· Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a fintech, financial services, or technology-driven company.

· 3+ years of proven experience in treasury management, financial analysis, and cash flow management, ideally within an Electronic Money or Payment Institution.

· In-depth knowledge of financial and risk management practices, corporate finance, and taxation.

· Demonstrated expertise in financial forecasting, data analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.

· Strong understanding of financial regulations, including client funds safeguarding, AML, KYC, MiFID II, and compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., Bank of Lithuania, FCA).

· Experience with capital markets, investor relations, and fundraising in regulated industries.

· Ability to develop and implement liquidity management strategies, payment processing procedures, and investment management for client funds.

· Experience with financial systems, payment platforms, and financial reporting tools, along with the ability to optimize system functionality.

· Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.

· Ability to present complex financial and risk data in a clear, actionable way to senior stakeholders.

· Strategic thinker with strong awareness of market trends, business optimization, and profitability levers.

· Familiarity with digital financial products such as payments, embedded finance, or crypto.

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Master’s (MBA/MSc) or professional certification (CPA, CFA) is a plus.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive tools.

· Fluent in Lithuanian and English; additional languages are an advantage.

· Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
